Service available at any Ford or Lincoln Mercury Dealership nationwide.  Our manufacturer-backed limited warranty is fully travsferable to future owners at no cost, a resale benefit that can be transferred from owner to owner.

169 Point Inspection by Certified Mechanics

If a vehicle does not meet our strict criteria, we will not certify it.  It is that simple.

Each vehicle must pass a rigorous 169 point-by-point inspection by Ford factory-trained technicians.  Only those vehicles that pass can become Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicles.

Each Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicle also undergoes a comprehensive mechanical reconditioning process during certificiation.  To ensure the highest standard of quality is met, only new, Genuine Ford, Motorcraft® or Ford-authorized replacement parts are used during this reconditioning.

The 169-point inspection is divided into the following areas: Vehicle History, Road Test, Vehicle Exterior, Vehicle Interior, Vehicle Diagnostics, Underhood, Hybrid, Underbody, Convenience.

Comprehensive Warranty

Relax, you are covered.  We've ensured your peace of mind with our comprehensive limited warranty.  The warranty covers more than 500 components, including many high-tech parts.  Areas of coverage include:

The Ford Certified Pre-Owned Comprehensive Limited Warranty provides coverage for three months or 3,000 miles from the Certified Pre-Owned vehicle purchase date, which ever comes first.  You can choose to extend your comprehensive limited warranty past three months or 3,000 miles by purchasing a Ford Extended Service Plan.  Ask Sioux Falls Ford Lincoln for more details.  

Vehicle History Report

Great past, even better future.  Not every vehicle can make the cut as a Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicle.  To even be considered for certification, each Ford must be less than six model years old and have less than 80,000 mile son the odometer.

After a vehicle has been determined as eligible in terms of age and mileage, a Vehicle History Report is run to identify any vehicle that does not meet our strict standards.  The report is run as a part of our 169-point inspection process, and it includes checks for:

    - Flood vehicles
    - Fire damage
    - Frame damage
    - Salvage vehicles
    - Branded title
    - Odometer issues
    - Accident history
    - Vehicle title history

In addition, you can view the actual Vehicle History Report for a specific vehicle by simply searching our current inventory now.  Or ask us for a copy when you arrive at the dealership.

24 Hour Roadside Assistance

We are always here for you.  Wherever your travels take you, you are never alone with the Ford Motor Company 24-hour Roadside Assistance program.

Complimentary Roadside Assistance is provided for the duration of our powertrain limited warranty coverage, which means you are automatically covered for 6 years or 100,000 miles from the original in-service date.  That is 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all yearlong, in case of breakdown, blowout, bad weather, etc.

Our program even covers you for things that are not the fault of the car, such as if you run out of gas, lose your keys and more.

Roadside assistance will:
    - Mount your spare if you have a flat tire
    - Jump start for dead batteries
    - Unlock your vehicle if you are locked out (does not include the cost of making spare keys)
    - Bring you fuel if you run out, up to two gallons of gasoline or five gallons of diesel fuel at no charge
    - Assistance of up to $100 to tow your disabled vehicle to the nearest Ford Motor Company franchise           dealer
    - Notify the police for you if you need assistance
