Today, we'd like to introduce you to Sam Balk, Receptionist at our new dealership facility on W. 26th Street.

Question: What is the nicest thing about working at Sioux Falls Ford Lincoln?
Sam: The nicest thing about working at Sioux Falls Ford Lincoln is the people. We have really cool people here and they are awesome to work with. It’s like they become your family and you live life with them.
Q: What should first-time visitors know about Sioux Falls Ford Lincoln?
S: First time visitors who come into Sioux Falls Ford Lincoln should know that we care. We are not just going to push them to buy something just to get a sale. We work hard to make sure people get into the right vehicle for them. That means getting what they need, and also what they like.
Q: With a brand-new facility, what are some of the nicest upgrades you like?
S: I love all the glass windows. I sit at the main receptionist desk and I have a great outside view all day long. I also think the service department is cool. It’s really nice and big.
Q: What does a typical workday look like for you?
S: I come in at 7am, an hour before the sales department opens. I have a lot of jobs that do with vehicle invoicing, assigning stock #s to vehicles coming in, working with vehicle credits, getting keys filed and helping with title work. And…of course, as a receptionist I answer phones & have a lot of direct contact with customers. I’m the go-to woman for helpful directions in the store!
Q: What is your dream car, and what are some the things you like about it?
S: I would choose the Ford Explorer. There are so many things to like about what Ford has done to them in the past years, but my favorite things about them is that they are spacious and pretty.
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
S: Of course, I like to hang out with friends and family. I also like to do Yoga because it’s relaxing.
