Two new announcements about Ford and its upcoming C-Max line of vehicles arrived today, emphasizing the vehicles' efficiency and electric performance.
For the C-Max Hybrid, the previously predicted miles per gallon rating of 47 mpg is now official, per the EPA, and will apply across the board. Is the driver of this Ford Ranger driving under the influence? From the looks of this four-minute-long video where he or she pinballs repeatedly between ditch and center line and narrowly misses oncoming traffic, it certainly looks like the wheelman is soggy drunk.

DETROIT (Bloomberg) --Automobile owners in the U.S. see fuel economy as the leading element they will consider this year in purchasing their next car, according to a survey by Consumer Reports.
Of 1,702 car owners interviewed, 37% cited fuel economy as the top concern, the product tester and magazine publisher said in an e-mailed statement today. Quality was cited as the main reason by 17% of respondents, followed by safety at 16% and value at 14%.
